The basic steps in the process are:
DETERMINE FORMULATION
Water phase: water + surfactant
Oil phase: water immiscible solvent + polymer + other ingredients
DETERMINE PROCESS
Add oil to the water phase
Mix using a rotor-stator motor to create a stable pre-mix
Process the pre-mix using a homogenizer after considering the critical processing parameters: chamber type, processing pressure, temperature and number of passes
